Dec. 10th Graduation

Today I went to a Guide Dogs for the Blind graduation. I got to watch Maxwell, Cheddar, Lucas, Sirius, Khaki, Jennings, Epic, and Krissa graduate. I knew most of these dogs really well. It was wonderful getting to see them make the full circle as their puppy raisers handed over the leash and each team prepared to embark on a new wonderful chapter in life. Being apart of this organization has been so incredibly rewarding.

Epic and his partner are graduating in the photo above. He is an adorable yellow lab with the biggest head. I remember seeing him for the first time on his recall day in the kennels. He is as sweet as can be and I noticed him before I noticed his name. Not only was he awesomely cute and sweet but  Epic is such an awesome name too! I'm so proud of him and his new partner!

I will be back volunteering in the kennels next week so hopefully i will have lots of stories to share. Can't wait to see all of my dogs again!
